Colors of Sibiu – Buildings with a Spectrum

A colorful pastel minimalism approach, overlaying the magnificent architecture of Sibiu Romania, for any colorist, visitor, guest, traveler, and tourist to feast their eyes upon.

Sometimes one falls in love with a view for so long

This unique mixture of historic European architecture and modern contemporary art color influences is in a league of it’s own. The soft pastel spectrum of colors are a treat for anyone strolling down the alleys, streets, and main centers of lovely Sibiu. The walls, windows, doors, frames, and  all four corners each have their own unique combination of color formations. Witness the sights of sea green,  sunflower yellow, peach peach, sunrise blue, or a saturated violet lavender mixed with a hint of orchid.

Start at one interaction, make a 360 degree turn (left or right, turning is fun either way). Take lots of pictures (this is obvious, or save the memory for yourself). Then move to the other side, however, some could get stuck at one corner for a few seconds.

Just like the eye above the house’s (yes it’s a thing, just research the eye’s of Sibiu), the fine cuisine at all the markets and restaurants, and the ancestral built cityscape, the colors have a permanent stay here for all to enjoy.

And don’t forget to check every nook and cranny because sometimes one decimeter can have an astounding effect. So keep those eyes wide open, oh yeah, also look up and down, left and right, and all around.

We hope to see you here so you can experience one of the most visually satisfying locations on your travels.

And of course, our staff at CityStay Hostel would be more than happy to arrange a special walking tour to the best viewpoints.
